You will be responsible for translating complex vessel concepts into detailed, production-ready technical drawings. This role requires a high level of accuracy and a deep understanding of marine steelwork and aluminium structures. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from initial concept sketches to final fabrication packages.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CAD Draughtsperson within the marine or offshore sectors.

Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and Rhino.

Solid understanding of vessel structural design and regulatory compliance (e.g., Lloyd’s Register, DNV, MCA).

Ability to interpret complex machinery arrangements and piping schematics.

You will be responsible for translating complex vessel concepts into detailed, production-ready technical drawings and working across the systems placement of a host of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and water systems on board commercial craft. This role requires a high level of accuracy and a deep understanding of marine systems, particuarly on smaller craft under 30m. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from initial concept sketches to final fabrication packages.

Proven experience as a systems design engineer within the marine or offshore sectors.

Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and Rhino.

Solid understanding of vessel systems and regulatory compliance (e.g., Lloyd’s Register, DNV, MCA).
