We're delighted to welcome a new client on board at SYR who are seeking to bring a technical project manager into their team. 

A niche engineering business with an exceptional team, they service the needs of the superyacht sector through crane and deck gear servicing and repair amongst many other requirments. Based out of Monaco but with teams on site across the Med, the two directors are now seeking a technical project manager to report directly into them, handling the planning and execution of a busy schedule throughout the season. 

Taking on a critical role within the organisation, duties will include:

- Co-ordination of a wide mixture or refit, repair and service work either on board or during refit period

- Planning the work schedule and allocating team resource across projects 

- Preparation of technical reports for clients and colleagues 

- High level project co-ordination and sign off to ensure projects meet demands and requirements. 

- Internal and external communication

- Deputising for the business owners at all times

- Budgeting across season 

Our ideal candidate will be coming from either a career as a Chief Engineer or from a background working through the technical ranks in a shipyard up to a senior level. You'll have an excellent technical knowledge of yachts, ideally with strong mechanical and hydraulic understanding alongside experience working at heights and in busy shipyard environments. Alongside your technical skills you'll also be operationally strong, able to plan and execute across multiple projects and under pressure.

Able to commute to Monaco or to other sites across the riviera as required you'll be provided with all the tools provided to complete the role and be rewarded with an attractive salary and benefits package accordingly.
