Naval Architect / Senior Naval Architect

This longstanding firm has built an international reputation for innovative yacht design and naval architecture. With a portfolio spanning new-build superyachts and complex refit projects, the studio combines decades of expertise with cutting-edge design technology.

We're looking for a talented and commercially minded Naval Architect / Senior Naval Architect to join the team, taking a leading role in delivering technically challenging and rewarding projects.

The Role

Working alongside an experienced team of designers and engineers, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Lead naval architecture activities across superyacht new-build and refit projects.

• Develop hull forms, stability calculations, structural designs and performance assessments.

• Ensure designs meet class, flag and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate directly with shipyards, clients and technical partners around the world.

• Support and mentor junior designers whilst contributing to innovative design solutions.

• Attend shipyards, surveys and sea trials as required.

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, a practical approach to problem-solving and a genuine passion for yacht design.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• A degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years' experience in yacht design or naval architecture.

• Strong understanding of stability, structures, weight control and classification requirements.

• Experience using AutoCAD, Rhino and MaxSurf.

• Knowledge of composite, aluminium and steel construction.

• Confidence communicating with clients, shipyards and multidisciplinary teams.

Above all, you'll be proactive, personable and comfortable taking ownership of technical challenges.
