The Opportunity A leading manufacturer of high-end, high-performance rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist. This role manages the procurement of premium components for both standard catalog production and bespoke, semi-custom builds. You will oversee supplier relationships and ensure material availability for a meticulous manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle for standard catalog components and custom, semi-custom parts.

• Execute small-batch procurement strategies, balancing inventory holding costs with production agility.

• Maintain and optimize supplier relationships through rigorous account management.

• Utilize Salesforce and Unleashed software to track orders, manage stock levels, and update procurement data.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to source highly specific technical parts.

What We Are Looking For

• Systems Expertise: Proven experience using Salesforce and Unleashed inventory management software is essential.

• Buying Profile: Background in technical purchasing, specifically handling small batches and semi-custom engineering components.

• Account Management: Strong negotiation skills and a track record of managing supplier accounts effectively.

• Industry Context: Experience within marine manufacturing, automotive, or high-end engineering sectors is highly advantageous.

• Education: Degree-qualified or equivalent professional purchasing qualification preferred.
