Production Planner

We are recruiting an experienced Production Planner / Project Scheduler to take ownership of our production programmes across multiple bespoke tender builds.

You will manage end-to-end planning to ensure every build remains on schedule, within scope, and aligned with contractual milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme Management: Build, update, and oversee detailed master production schedules across concurrent bespoke projects using Gantt charting and project planning software.

• Process & Progress Tracking: Monitor manufacturing timelines, procurement schedules, and key project milestones to maintain operational flow.

• Resource & Cash Flow Allocation: Coordinate resource management and track project-related cash flow forecasts alongside contractual delivery targets.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate directly with engineering, workshop, procurement, and management teams to keep all build phases properly synchronized.

Key Requirements

• Project Scheduling Expertise: Proven track record utilizing Gantt charts and dedicated project planning software to manage multi-project workflows.

• Industry Experience: Background in marine manufacturing, boatbuilding, or a high-spec bespoke engineering/manufacturing environment.

• Operational Control: Strong grasp of procurement timelines, resource management, and delivery forecasting.

• Communication & Drive: Direct approach with the confidence to coordinate cross-departmental operations and keep complex projects on track.
