About the Role
An established and reputable shipyard in Turkey is seeking a New Build Project Manager to join its growing team. This role is ideal for an up-and-coming, developing Project Manager or Naval Architect who is ready to take the next step in their career within the superyacht new build sector.
You will be involved in the end-to-end delivery of new build yacht projects, working closely with internal teams, external suppliers, and owners’ representatives to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage new build superyacht projects from contract signing through to delivery
- Coordinate with naval architects, designers, engineers, production teams, and subcontractors
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and technical milestones
- Assist with technical reviews, drawings, and specifications
- Act as a point of contact between the shipyard and owners’ representatives
- Identify and help resolve technical or scheduling issues during the build process
- Ensure compliance with class, flag, and regulatory requirements
Candidate Profile
- Background as a developing Project Manager or Naval Architect
- Experience specifically within the superyacht industry
- Strong exposure to new build yacht projects
- Technically minded, well-organised, and eager to grow within a shipyard environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven setting
Requirements
- 5 + years’ experience in naval architecture or project management
- Experience gained within a shipyard in the marine or superyacht sector
- Solid understanding of new build yacht processes
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to be based in Turkey (or relocate)
