Key responsibilities:

– You will contribute to ensuring, based on documentation, plans, and electrical diagrams, the assembly, wiring, inspection, start-up, testing, and maintenance of electrical installations on ships.

– You will report to an electrical team leader and/or a project manager.

– Your main responsibilities:

– You will be responsible for the installation and repair of electrical and electromechanical systems on yachts, merchant ships, and military vessels.

– Preventive maintenance (insulation testing, thermographic analysis, electrical motor/alternator testing, etc.)

– Corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems and PLCs

– Onboard and workshop maintenance of rotating electrical machinery (motors, alternators, etc.)

– Wiring of electrical installations onboard and in workshop.

Experience:

– At least 5 years of experience in the electrical sector, ideally in the maritime industry.

 -A thorough understanding of the operation and theory of AC and DC circuits is required.

– Flexible and experienced in handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

– Demonstrated expertise in industry best practices and consistent on-time delivery.

– We ideally seek candidates with solid marine or offshore experience.

Skills:

– Strong skills in low-voltage electrical installations

– Proven ability to deliver projects on time

– Ability to perform precise and rigorous work with strong attention to detail

– A sociable personality, willing and able to work as part of a team

Qualifications:

Technical baccalaureate or Advanced (specializing in electricity, electro-technics, or electronics).

– Fluent in French and English.

– Good proficiency in Microsoft Office

-A passion for maritime professions.
